The Iron Healing: Lessons & Reflections from Surah al-Hadid

Imam Suleiman Hani is the Director of Academic Affairs at AlMaghrib Institute, a research fellow, and a resident scholar in Michigan. At the age of 14, Suleiman completed a 10-month Qur’an memorization program and began his intensive studies under numerous scholars, earning dozens of traditional religious certifications in the process. He later earned a master’s degree from the University of Jordan’s College of Shari’ah, ranking first in his class, and a master’s degree from Harvard University, where he studied religions and philosophy. Over the past decade, he has served as an Imam and community leader in Michigan, lectured in dozens of countries, published a number of books and articles, and was featured on the largest Islamic TV stations worldwide.

Dr. Sohaib Saeed is a specialist in Tafsir and Quranic Studies, based in Scotland. He earned a degree in this field from Al-Azhar University and went on to complete a PhD at the University of London under the supervision of Professor M.A.S. Abdel Haleem, the renowned translator of the Qur’an. He has taught and researched at several universities in the UK and Europe, and published in leading academic journals. Dr. Sohaib has become known for his translations of classical works of tafsir, including the first volume of The Great Exegesis by Imam Razi. He is the founder and director of the Ibn ‘Ashur Centre for Quranic Studies.

Shaykh Hammad Fahim has a great passion for studying and teaching Quranic subjects, with a special focus on tadabbur (reflecting upon the Quran). He is a graduate of the prestigious Al-Azhar University in the Faculty of Shariah (Egypt) with a BA (Hons) degree in Islamic Jurisprudence and has ijazah (classical certification) in several Qirat, including Hafs, Warsh and Hamzah. He holds a diploma in Arabic Language, and has studied Shariah at the Institut Européen des Sciences (France). Fahim is an Executive Committee member of the British Academy of Qur’anic Studies (BAQS) and a trustee of the European Academy of Quran Studies. He is also a qualified lawyer specializing in Civil Law and is a High-Court Advocate.
