Commentary

Disbelievers mockingly ask when the Day of Judgment will occur. Their tone expresses disbelief and mockery rather than sincerity. This is the attitude of people who treat ultimate truths as entertainment. Their question reflects arrogance, not curiosity.

Guidance 

Believers are guided through belief in the Hour, the day of recompense and accountability. This single thought should shake our core, rousing in us the urgency to prepare for the hereafter. In contrast, the thought of resurrection according to those unfaithful is laughable and no more than an illusion. The contrast is clear. However, at times, even for believers, the thought of the hereafter is put on pause, as life gets in the way, giving the illusion that this life is all that matters. Take a pause from life and renew your Iman by recalling the signs of the hour and the descriptions of the Day of Judgment.
