عَبَسَ
وَتَوَلّٰۤی
۟ۙ

Dia (Muhammad) berwajah masam dan berpaling,

اَنْ

جَآءَهُ

الْاَعْمٰى

۟ؕ

karena seorang buta telah datang kepadanya (Abdullah bin Ummi Maktum).

وَمَا

یُدْرِیْكَ

لَعَلَّهٗ

یَزَّ

۟ۙ

Dan tahukah engkau (Muhammad) barangkali dia ingin menyucikan dirinya (dari dosa),
