فُعِلَ
بِأَشۡيَاعِهِم
مِّن
قَبۡلُۚ
إِنَّهُمۡ
كَانُواْ
فِي
شَكّٖ
مُّرِيبِۭ

و [سرانجام،] میان آنان و آنچه [از لذتهای دنیوی] که میل دارند جدایى افتاد؛ چنان كه پیش از این [نیز] با امثال [و همفكرانِ] اینان نیز چنین رفتاری شد [چرا که] یقیناً آنان [نیز نسبت به قیامت] سخت در تردید بودند.

Ibn Kathir (Abridged)
وَأُخِذُواْ مِن مَّكَانٍ قَرِيبٍ
(and they will be seized from a near place.) means, they will not even be given the slightest chance of escape, but they will be seized from the first instant. Al-Hasan Al-Basri said: "When they come forth from their graves."
