إِنۡ
هِيَ
إِلَّآ
أَسۡمَآءٞ
سَمَّيۡتُمُوهَآ
أَنتُمۡ
وَءَابَآؤُكُم
مَّآ
أَنزَلَ
ٱللَّهُ
بِهَا
مِن
سُلۡطَٰنٍۚ
إِن
يَتَّبِعُونَ
إِلَّا
ٱلظَّنَّ
وَمَا
تَهۡوَى
ٱلۡأَنفُسُۖ
وَلَقَدۡ
جَآءَهُم
مِّن
رَّبِّهِمُ
ٱلۡهُدَىٰٓ

این [نماد]ها فقط اسمهایی [بىمعنا] هستند كه خود و پدرانتان با آنها [معبودهاى دروغین خود را] نام نهادهاید و الله هیچ دلیلی بر [حقانیت] این [کار] نازل نکرده است. [مشرکان، در اعتقاداتشان] فقط پیرو گمان و خواستههای دلِ خویشند؛ حال آنكه [موجبات] هدایت، از جانب پروردگارشان به آنان رسیده است.

Refuting Idolatry, Al-Lat and Al-`Uzza
