حَتَّىٰٓ
إِذَا
بَلَغَ
مَغۡرِبَ
ٱلشَّمۡسِ
وَجَدَهَا
تَغۡرُبُ
فِي
عَيۡنٍ
حَمِئَةٖ
وَوَجَدَ
عِندَهَا
قَوۡمٗاۖ
قُلۡنَا
يَٰذَا
ٱلۡقَرۡنَيۡنِ
إِمَّآ
أَن
تُعَذِّبَ
وَإِمَّآ
أَن
تَتَّخِذَ
فِيهِمۡ
حُسۡنٗا
٨٦
[روزی در زمین به راه افتاد] تا به محل غروب خورشید رسید. [چنین به نظرش رسید] که خورشید در چشمهای گرم و گِلآلود غروب میکند و در [نزدیکیِ] آنجا قومی [کافر] یافت. [به او] گفتیم: «ای ذوالقرنین، یا [آنان را] مجازات میکنی یا در میانشان [رفتار] نیکویی پیش میگیری».
