Hadith: At-Taghabun 64:16

64:16
فاتقوا الله ما استطعتم واسمعوا واطيعوا وانفقوا خيرا لانفسكم ومن يوق شح نفسه فاولايك هم المفلحون ١٦
فَٱتَّقُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ مَا ٱسْتَطَعْتُمْ وَٱسْمَعُوا۟ وَأَطِيعُوا۟ وَأَنفِقُوا۟ خَيْرًۭا لِّأَنفُسِكُمْ ۗ وَمَن يُوقَ شُحَّ نَفْسِهِۦ فَأُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلْمُفْلِحُونَ ١٦
فَٱتَّقُواْ
ٱللَّهَ
مَا
ٱسۡتَطَعۡتُمۡ
وَٱسۡمَعُواْ
وَأَطِيعُواْ
وَأَنفِقُواْ
خَيۡرٗا
لِّأَنفُسِكُمۡۗ
وَمَن
يُوقَ
شُحَّ
نَفۡسِهِۦ
فَأُوْلَٰٓئِكَ
هُمُ
ٱلۡمُفۡلِحُونَ
١٦
So be mindful of Allah to the best of your ability, hear and obey, and spend in charity—that will be best for you. And whoever is saved from the selfishness of their own souls, it is they who are ˹truly˺ successful.

Sahih al-Bukhari 7203

Narrated `Abdullah bin Dinar:

I witnessed Ibn `Umar when the people gathered around `Abdul Malik. Ibn `Umar wrote: I gave the Pledge of allegiance that I will listen to and obey Allah's Slave, `Abdul Malik, Chief of the believers according to Allah's Laws and the Traditions of His Apostle as much as I can; and my sons too, give the same pledge.'

Sahih al-Bukhari 7202

Narrated `Abdullah bin `Umar:

Whenever we gave the Pledge of allegiance to Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) for to listen to and obey, he used to say to us, for as much as you can."

He has revealed to you ˹O Prophet˺ the Book in truth, confirming what came before it, as He revealed the Torah and the Gospel
